The Adventure Club (our school-agers) are going through an interactive experience of the Bible the summer. After hearing about Moses and how his mother had to put him in a basket and then in the Nile to save him, the kids made their own “baskets” out of milk cartons and put their own baby Moses’ in. They then went to Moir Park and watched their baskets float down Nine Mile Creek.
Later in the day some of the kids played Frizbee Golf while others played on the playground. They spend most of the day at the park enjoying a picnic lunch and playing. It was all that our Minnesota summer days are supposed to be.
