Kale and Flowers purchased at the Farmer’s Market turned into cooking, science and art projects.

The kindergarteners went down to the Farmer’s Market in Minneapolis yesterday to see many wonders of God’s creation.  One item they purchased was kale to make into kale chips.  The cleaned the kale, added the necessary oil and salt and then baked them.  Later they each tried the chips.  Some they liked, some they didn’t, but all of them tried.  Later they explored the flowers they had purchased at the Farmer’s Market and each child painted a still life of the flowers.

They had 4 different types of kale.
