PREPARING FOR KINDERGARTEN
The DuckTail teachers work to nurture the children in five essential areas: spiritual, emotional, social, academic, and physical. Through a daily devotional time around Bible stories and verses, we instill moral values and help each child discover their spiritual foundation.
We also guide children in understanding and managing their emotions, fostering social skills that promote empathy and a helping hand for friends in need. Our approach recognizes that preschoolers learn best through play, so we present academic goals tailored to their developmental needs, incorporating projects, stories, cooking, science, math, and field trips.
We empower children to master self-help skills such as going to the bathroom, getting dressed themselves, and practicing personal hygiene. They also learn responsibility in their interactions with peers and their environment.
Our curriculum framework is rooted in the Creative Curriculum and supported by ongoing assessments of each child’s unique needs. We ensure that children receive individualized attention and preparation for their future.

I have enjoyed working with the 4-year-olds for the past 3 decades. Being one of the bus drivers I can incorporate a variety of field trips into our monthly curriculum that encourages their involvement in our community.
