Tuesday marked the beginning of our new year. Everyone moves up to their new rooms. The school agers go off to their schools and the kindergarteners wait one more day until they start kindergarten. It is a day filled with tears and new clothes, laughter and confusion. We know it is going to happen every year – but we are all glad when it is behind us. Currently we still have openings for 2 infants and 3 three year olds. Those spots will be filled, they always are, it just is much easier on the children and the teachers if they have their whole classrooms right away. Enjoy the pictures from our first day of our new year.
New babies start – we learn that you can never have too much love in your heart.
Past Turtles are now new Penguins and walking in the hallway like they have always been doing it.
New Penguins also learn to sit at a table to eat rather than in high chairs.
Moving up to the Chipmunk room provides opportunities to make new friends since 3 more children are added to the old Penguin mix.
The cots are also bigger in the Chipmunk room, this is their first nap time in their new room.
Being a new Aardvark means there are many new toys to play with.
And new friends have joined this group also.
The Duck Tapes have some new friends also, along with time experiencing fun new things, such as playing with sand.
Old friends are also with you as the kids move up to the Duck Tape room.
Waiting for the bus to take them off for another year at school.
Off they go
Of course, some still have to go off in style with their parents.
Then it is back to TLC to play in the afternoon, most said they had a great day.
Those going into kindergarten had one more day of play before the work begins.
